bulletLast month’s meeting minutes have not been posted to the website yet.
bulletTreasurer’s Report:  $3,360.09.
bulletWe are still looking for a speaker for our annual meeting in December.  If anyone is interested or if you know of anyone, please contact either Paul Felkey or Michele Baker.
bulletNominations of officers.  The floor was opened for nominations.  The following nominations were made and seconded by those in attendance. 

* President – Paul Felkey - SIA

* Vice President – Denny Smith – Tippecanoe County Highway Dept.

* Treasurer:  Rob Outhouse – Saf T Gard

* Secretary:  Michele Baker – Huston Electric, Inc.

* (1) Trustee:  Mike Boone – Safety Solutions.

* The next meeting is scheduled for November 14th.  This meeting is being hosted by Mike Boone with Safety Solutions.  The location is still undecided.

In 2000, 126,000 non-residential structure fires resulted in 90 fatalities.

FSM-8 processes video but also acts like a DVR.

FSM-8 Algorithms:

            - Detects smoke that has gathered at ceiling causing blooming around light fixtures.

            - Looks for characteristic shape & movement of a smoke plume.

            - Detects flaming in the line of sight of camera.

            - Vision based artificial intelligence.

            - Cameras see and detect fire (no thermal imaging).
