 | The new officers for 2006 were sworn in. They were
sworn in by John Dougherty. The new officers that were sworn in were:
Paul Felkey – President, Andy Parker – Treasurer, Michele Baker –
Secretary, Mike Boone – Trustee, and Denny Smith – Trustee. Joyce
Peterson was elected Vice President and was unable to attend today’s
meeting. Joyce will be sworn in at the next meeting she is present at. |
| Our next meeting is January 11, 2006 at Great Lakes
Chemical (a Chemtura Company). The topic covered will be Hazard
Communications. |
| Future topics were discussed for future meetings.
Hazard Communications was one topic and another was Ergonomics. Hazard
Communications will be covered at our January meeting. We will see about
getting a presenter for Ergonomics to present to the council. |
| The dues for 2006 will remain at $35.00 per
company. This fee allows up to three (3) representatives to attend our
meetings. |
| Paul Felkey is taking over as webmaster for GLASC
effective January 1, 2006. |
| The trustees will audit the books at our January 5,
2006 board meeting. This will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Monical’s. |
| Caterpillar will be hosting our February 8, 2006
meeting. This will be a roundtable discussion. If anyone has any

| The Safety & Health Expo/Conference will be held on
February 28 & March 1 at the Adams-Mark Hotel in Indianapolis. If anyone
