EMACS for the Emergency Management Market

EMAC System Benefits:

1.      Reduce message delivery times from multiple minutes to seconds.

a.       Automatically broadcast messages based on predefined CAD outputs to appropriate users & groups when specified triggers are met.  Broadcast unlimited message to multiple carriers within seconds.

2.      Interoperability & Compatibility.

a.       Ability to integrate with all CAD vendors.  Compatibility with all major wireless carriers ad device types (1 & 2 way pagers, mobile and landline phones, PDA’s, two way radios, computer networks, & LED signs).

3.      Message Logging & Increased Accountability.

a.       Creates centralized message log & statistical tracking by monitoring all messages sent, messages received by carrier, & acknowledged by the recipient.  Allows escalation of messages until the group or user acknowledges message, this can be done through and IVR on by two way device.

4.      Built-In System Redundancy.

a.       Automatic secondary server fail over available.  Critical incident alerts reach desired users & groups with multiple contact methods per users.  Text messaging via modem, multiple internet protocols or text to speech conversion to phones & PA systems.

The following are some of the areas the EMAC system can help.

1.      Alarm Management.

a.       The EMAC system enables personnel to manage alarms & events, filtering out non-urgent alarms & alerting personnel when a production system is in need of repair.

2.      Information Services.

a.       The IT department has numerous applications to manage.  Enabling existing applications to integrate with existing communications systems is the essential to reducing workload.

3.      Facilities Management.

a.       Building automation is essential to ensuring that facilities operate smoothly.  Security and temperatures need to be monitored in high risk areas.  The EMAC system integrates fire alarms, flood alarms, HVAC monitoring systems, security and building automation systems to notify facilities staff.

4.      Communications.

a.       In the manufacturing industry, communication must be continuously evaluated & monitored to ensure timely and available communication in the event of a catastrophic event.  The EMAC system integrates all of your existing vendor’s communications systems to provide ubiquitous communications across the entire organization.
