Meeting called to order at 11:14am by President Paul Felkey.Old Business:
Paul went over the previous
meeting minutes.
New Business:
The treasurer’s report was not given.
A request has been made to share information regarding AED experiences.
Red Cross Emergency Response Classes are being given for free, Kirk
Saylor to give information to Joyce to send out to GLASC members.
Thanks went out to Christy from Siemens for the use of
the Siemens’ facilities and to Major Tracy Brown of the Sheriff’s Department
for the excellent presentation and tour of the Tippecanoe Jail.
Feature Presentation:
Major Brown’s presentation was an overview of all the
diverse operations that are handled by the Sheriff’s Department.

| Responsible for all aspects of the running of the
Tippecanoe County Jail. |
| Handles 911 Emergency Communication System. |
| Special Operations – K-9 teams, Special Response teams,
Bomb Explosion Team, and Water Rescue and Recovery. |

After the overview all present were treated to a ride in the Sheriff’s
bus to the jail. At the jail we were introduced to Sheriff Smokey Anderson
and Carrie Robertson who gave us a tour of the jail.
The meeting was dismissed at tours end.
