“Identity Theft” presented by the Indiana
State Police Post in West Lafayette. The guest speaker was Sergeant Scott
Brown. The meeting was called to order by
Paul Felkey at 12:15. He requested that everyone sign in and if anyone had
new or changed E-Mails that they make the corrections on the sign-in sheet.

Old Business:
None.

New Business:
Paul extended a “Thank-You” to the Indiana State police for hosting the
meeting and for providing lunch. He also again thanked Eli Lilly for
hosting last months’ meeting in which the topic discussed was “Universal
Work Permit”.
Melissa Gibbs, Treasurer of GLASC, has taken a new assignment with CAT in
Great Britain. GLASC sends their good wishes to her. Nominations were
taken last month for an acting treasurer. Those nominated were Andy Parker
of CAT, and Mike Staublin of Bon L Manufacturing. Last week Mr. Staublin
requested that his name be removed from the slate. Paul asked if there were
any other nominations from the floor. There were none. Andy Parker was
then unanimously voted in as treasurer for the remainder of the term.
Donna Majewski, of
the Hoosier Safety Council, stated that the 2004 conference will have a
sport theme “We All Win with Safety”. This year’s conference will again be
held at the Cumberland Place Exhibition Center. Donna noted that she will
have more information on the conference at Octobers’ meeting.
Paul also brought up that nominations for officers will
take place in October and actually run through November. Members can
nominate by E-Mailing Paul Felkey at
paul.felkey@subaru-sia.com or Michelle Levell at
michelle.levell@subaru-sia.com. Descriptions of each of the officers’
duties are located on the GLASC web site.
The meeting adjourned at 1:50PM.
