The July GLASC meeting was hosted by Eli Lilly which
started with introductions and the review of last months meeting minutes.
Paul presented the Treasurers Report.....$3219.32 Balance.
Old Business:
We are no longer members of the
NSC. Donna gave an update on the HSC. We are still working on
the membership for HSC. Donna presented HSC information on OSHA
training courses available and a mobile work zone memorial. This

Future GLASC meetings...
The next meeting will be held at Bioanalytical Systems from 12-1:30pm on
August 12th. Please RSVP for this meeting.
The November meeting slot is now
filled. It will be held at SIA. The presenter will be Mettam
Safety. The topic will be Lockout Tagout or Confined Space. Please
refer to meeting information on the GLASC website for specifics.
New Business:
It is getting close to nominate officers for 2003. Please
be thinking about your nominations. The October meeting we will
announce nominations....November we will vote......December we will
swear in during our annual meeting. This year the annual meeting
will be held at the Radisson again. The annual topic yet to be
announced.
Feature Presentation:
The
presentation today was Fall Protection with Trevor Taylor of Taylor Sales.
Trevor reviewed the basics of Fall Protection with a 45 minute
"training" session. The session was preceded by a
demonstration of fall protection use and "miss-use". If
