August Meeting Minutes

SPECIAL THANKS to Jim Patton of Indiana Veteran's Home for hosting the August GLASC Meeting.

GLASC appreciated the presentation on Mercury Awareness given by Dawn Boston of Wildcat Solid Waste.  Dawn explained Mercury is an element that never goes away.  She discussed several items in our homes and business that have mercury in them and responsible ways to replace items and recycle the mercury.  She talked about short term vs. long term mercury exposure.

We also hear from Bill Forney from Lilly Contracted Services Alliance regarding the goal of having standardized safety polices and procedures for construction.  For more information contact him at 447-4836.
