Next GLASC Meeting
The next meeting of the Greater Lafayette Area Safety Council is Wednesday, January 10, at Signature Inn, Lafayette from 12:00 — 1:30 p.m.

IVY Tech State College is hosting this meeting.  IVY Tech has also arranged for Indiana Department of Labor Deputy Commissioner of BUSET, Diane Morris, to speak on the topic: "A Look Ahead to 2001."   This meeting will be a good opportunity for you to ask questions about upcoming standards changes and what to expect in safety next year.

The cost for lunch is $8.  Please RSVP to Elaine Doss.  Any questions, please contact Elaine at (765) 772-9134.

 

December Meeting Minutes
Thanks to Ivy Tech State College and Elaine Doss for serving as host at the December GLASC meeting.  Due to inclement weather the speaker was rescheduled for our January meeting.

The outgoing officers were recognized and each one was awarded a GLASC hat!   GLASC's appreciation goes out to all of the officers who made this a great year, THANKS!

GLASC new board members were installed:

Kathy Beaver our out-going President was awarded a plaque of appreciation.  Thanks Kathy for all of your hard work and making this a great group!

 

Executive Board News
Thanks to everyone who sent in their Member Survey.  The winner of the drawing was Gary Stewart of Globe Valve in Delphi.  Congratulations Gary!   He won a $35 gift certificate for the Tippecanoe Mall.
