Next GLASC Meeting

| The next meeting of the Greater Lafayette Area Safety Council is
Wednesday, December 13h at Duncan Hall, 619 Ferry Street, Lafayette from
12:00 — 1:30 p.m. IVY Tech State College is
hosting this meeting at which the new 2001 GLASC officers will be sworn in. IVY Tech
has also arranged for Indiana Department of Labor Deputy Commissioner of BUSET, Diane
Morris, to speak on the topic: "A Look Ahead to 2001."
This meeting will be a good opportunity for you to ask questions about upcoming
standards changes and what to expect in safety next year.
The cost for lunch is $6.50. You may select your order from the
Heavenly Ham order form (call to receive by fax or mail) and fax it to Elaine Doss at

November Meeting Minutes

| Thanks to Safety Management Group (SMG) and Kent Burgett for serving as host and presenter of
"Contractor Safety" at the November GLASC meeting. The presentation
focused on specific questions the safety director should seek out prior to subcontracting
jobs at the worksite. Also at the meeting, officer elections were held.
