Next GLASC Meeting

| The next meeting of the Greater Lafayette Area Safety Council
is Wednesday, November 8th at the Ryan's Family Steakhouse from 12:00
— 1:30 p.m. Safety Management Group (SMG) is
sponsoring the meeting. Mike Lawson, Safety Manager for SMG, will
serve as host. Officer elections will be held. The topic to be presented is "Contractor
Safety."

October Meeting Minutes

| Last month's GLASC meeting was held at the Indiana State Police
Post-District 14. The presentation about responding to violent situations
at the workplace was very well received by the GLASC membership. We appreciate Dave Murray and all members of the State
Police who participated n the meeting. It was a very thought-provoking, informative
meeting, and the surprise noises added the element of realism to the demonstration.

Mills, Vice President of GLASC, presented the new GLASC WebSite.
This new site offers our membership directory, links to other safety-related sites, and
upcoming meetings and event information. This up-to-the-minute, new dimension of
